Little tests of patience

After picking up seeds and making lists and dreaming of pea trellises and how to construct them, we have been dumped on by snow. Five inches Tuesday night, followed by melt and snow all day Wednesday. Then we were up to 7.5″ of snow this morning. The winter wonderland is nice, but I’m dreaming of peas and greens! Where is my early heat? I’m just feeling grateful that I picked up all short season seeds this year. I have the feeling that this isn’t going away any time soon. Maybe it’ll stick around long enough to get me motivated to get a build diagram of those pea trellises.
