Went to the doc this week to renew my prescription for massage. I've been stressed and the curve in my spine is holding on to that angst like a mofo. Luckily the local doc-in-a-box has decent people and they asked approximately two questions before sending me out the door with a script. Massage not only gets rid of the pain, but resets my mood as well. For example, this morning was horrid but after my lunch massage I have my equilibrium back.
I talked to the doc a bit about my sad efforts to get going on core strengthening, and he suggested Pilates as an alternative to the yoga I'm planning. Now it's really getting to be a matter of finding some classes that actually work for my schedule. He also gave me the stink eye about weight lifting, which unfortunately makes sense with the number of bad days I'm having.
