There was fog while I was driving to work this morning. Every time I drive through fog in the dark, I'm remided of a story I was told about the building of the Nova Scotia airport. How they found the perfect place to put the airport, on a hill by the sea. They cleared the trees and discovered that the fog crept up to where the runways woud be, and since they didn't want the place to be fogged in every morning they started looking around for a new site. They spied the next hill over, which looked almost as good as the first and cleared the trees off the land. Then they discovered that the fog crept up there too. See, the trees had been holding the fog back, and when they were gone, the fog spread....
