I have to comment on the fake Puma ads (thanks mactavish!). This has got to be the best marketing scam ever. Someone put together a risque ad and passed it to their buddys who found it way too fun to keep to themselves. Just as it gaining steam, the company "finds the fake" and raises a huge furor over it. This gains mainstream attention for the ads, which were limited to bloggers previously. The search for the culprit overseas bring international attention. Suddenly there's this need for everyone to see this ad, even those who wouldn't have been exposed to it now know it exists and may indulge in the guilty pleasure of viewing.

Genius. Seems like they learned something from the Napster debacle.
