This sort of thing makes me sick. Yes, Harry Potter's new book went on sale at 12:01 AM today. But the child in the picture is 6. I doubt that he is the one dying to have the book at midnight; in fact, I rather suspect that it was an overzealous parent that dragged the young ones to such an event. Yes, I realize that children want what they want, and they want it now. It is a part of being a child to have things denied you. What are these parents going to do when these kids become teenagers and want to drink and drive? Or do drugs? Or skip school? They will not have learned how to cope with such situations. In fact, I dread the adults some of them will become. An adult who whines because they waaaaant it is never a pretty sight.
