As of last night, I am the proud owner of one of a limited run of CD copies of Stop the Cavalry by the Cory Band. The story goes that the only reason there are any CDs at all is because some guys from up here got tired of only hearing it on the radio a few times and wanted a copy. Since it was only released on vinyl, it's impossible to find. So he went and flashed cash at the label with the rights to the song (Stiff Records). They agreed to print 1800 copies.

I had to go buy one. The song absolutely cracks me up. It's full of tubas oom-pah-ing and the lyrics contain the line "rub dub duba dub" multiple times. It was too good to pass up.
