Single vs Married

I have finally figured out why singles and marrieds lose touch. Single people don't have their weekends planned 4 weeks in advance and do things on the spur of the moment. We married folk must plan further ahead and are therefore unavailable for the spontanous singles gatherings. This makes it seem that we are forever turning folks down, even if they see us at the pre-planned stuff.

These thoughts brought to you by my husbands silly single friends who suddenly dropped out of a planned outing for no reason.

You two are freaking me out. I think these thoughts on a daily basis. Yow.

Oh, and I love the guilt that the non-planners give the planners about 'why can't you just be spontaneous?' Yeah, would if I could, butt-munch! You try having a husband and a house and a dog and cats and family and in-laws and actual careers.

Okay. End of rant. For now.

I swear, life really does occur backwards - we never get a chance to truly appreciate our freedoms until they're taken away .. .
