Yesterday was insanely productive. Dad and I were able to get many of the pieces we needed to finish buit for the bookcase. Taking time out to build the proper jig for the table router actually helped us speed things up. There's really only a few more things to do before we get to move the bookcase to my house and I can fill it up.

After we'd given up for the day (I was getting tired enough to start tripping over extension cords) I used the gas grill to barbeque dinner while Dad and my husband transplanted 2 of his tiny japanese maples into a pot. They're sitting outside now, waiting for me to stain the deck so that the pot can go into its alloted place. The trees are adorable - they're only about 2 feet tall. I can't wait for them to get big enough to need transplanting.
