Unemployed again

I got laid off again yesterday. So the first thing I did was get a list of the fastest growing companies in the state. I'm applying to them. And let me tell you, I'm going to research any companies I interview with about their financial health.

I'm sorry to hear about the lay off .. it always sucks to have to deal with the whole job hunt thing. I hope it goes well for you. (And if you have any insight on how I can research the most finanacially stable companies in the Seattle area, please pass it along .. *grin*)

Thanks. And when I get that whole research thing down, I'll let you know. :)

Empathy, not sympathy. There's a subtle differnce

I was just passing through the countless journals while I 'tutor' when I ran across your predicament. I empathize. Be a biker or join a convent, that could be fun.

Re: Empathy, not sympathy. There's a subtle difference

I was thinking that I might just be a hermit-in-the-city. Or maybe join a circus.

Re: Empathy, not sympathy. There's a subtle difference

Joining a circus is fun, but the carnies always scared me, clowns too. Other options are hopeless romantic poet, unloved interloper or geltinous blob.
